Stoneware Gong Fu style brewing of Pu-erh tea or other teas. Gong-Fu style brewing is a fantastic way to enjoy tea. It is also known as the Gong-Fu tea ceremony. The term literally means "Making tea with effort". Brewing tea this way gives you a great amount of control over all aspects of the process. 
These Gong-Fu starters set (Gaiwan and 2 teacups) are have a dark glaze on them that has a sheen like an oil spill. These are solid set. They have a comfortably feel in the hand. Drinking your tea in Grey/Dark Brown is a true pleasure. The oil spill reflects light and makes your tea vibrant in color; it almost glows. There is a noticeable difference in the taste as well.
The mouth is wide and thin and is easy to pour without being too hot for your fingers. Do not microwave. Hand washing recommended.
